Summary:
A great DOS conversion of the popular TV show. It can be played with another person or against the computer. If you have seen the show you will feel right at home and will need no further explanation. The game is structured in the same way as the show, with the two normal, a double, and a triple round followed by the final fast-money round.
For those new to Family Feud, the game consists of two families going head to head against each other trying to guess the most popular answers to questions posed to 100 people. The game starts with a face-off. One member from each family participates, and the first one to hit their clicker gets to guess. If they guess the most popular answer, they get to choose to play or pass to the other family. If they don't get the most popular answer, the other person gets to guess and they get to make the decision of playing or passing if the can get a better answer. If both are wrong, the next member of each family gets a guess, with the same rules.
There are four such rounds. The first tow are worth the same amount of points meaning if you guess an answer that 50 people gave, you get 50 points. The third round is double and the fourth is triple. The final fast-money round involves two members of the family that has the most points at the end of three rounds each guessing the most popular answers of the same five questions. Getting to this round means you have won, and once you win you can come back and face another family.
Controls:
There is only one real control in this game. The bulk of input is in the form of typing. That one control is space which hits your clicker during the face-off.
